Title:
Vagrant Queen Vol. 1

Synopsis: Former child queen Elida was driven from her throne at age ten and forced to wander the galaxy, evading the revolutionary forces that wanted her dead. When an old frenemy claims to know the whereabouts of Elida’s long-lost mother, she is forced to return to her former kingdom and stage a rescue.

Review: A fugitive royal running from the authorities...IN SPACE! Elida gives off Han Solo AND Princess Leia vibes. This is a fun space adventure with a lot of physical combat and violence. There's interesting history and politics to the world, but it's not really dived into that deeply. I wanted more overall depth from this book. Too much action and not enough emotion and deeper thinking.

I give this book a 3.5/5. It was entertaining, but I definitely wanted more from it. It's apparently a new tv show so that may be worth checking out.
