Paul's TOP TEN Books Read in 2017

I read 47 of 50 books for my 2017 Goodreads Reading Challenge for a second year in the row. Thus, I am setting my 2018 Reading Challenge goal at 47 books. 2017 was the year of graphic novels for me.  I read so many Star Wars and Power Rangers comics, but also some great comics with queer representation. Since I read so many comics, I'm going to make a separate post about my TOP FIVE COMICS. This is the top non-comic books I read in 2017 (And I may have finished one of them on January 3rd, but it didn't count toward my 2017 Goodreads Reading Challenge). Review: This audiobook kept me at the edge of my driver's seat. This is a novella so it only lasts a little over two hours as an audiobook. I wanted more of this world. You are dropped into a futuristic world where humans are just one of the many alien species occupying the galactic society. Binti is the first of her people to go to this prestigious university, but things go wrong on the trip there. 

It was nice to read a sci-fi book that didn't focus on humans with a European ancestry. There are so many questions I had about this world. A sequel came out earlier this year called Home and I'm hoping to listen to it in audiobook format sometime soon. 

This is the first Nnedi Okorafor book I've read and now I want to start going through her catalog. I give this novella audiobook a 5/5.
